Gold Ballroom
During the prohibition era, The Gold Room was also a speakeasy, complete with a hidden door to help revelers avoid police and paparazzi and an escape onto Olive Street. Today, you can still see a small “paparazzi window” in the corner of the ballroom ceiling.
This elegant, split-level ballroom features 29-foot high, gold-coffered ceilings, original wood-paneled walls, and crystal chandeliers. The 5,940 square feet of space includes a lower level, which serves as an intimate foyer, reception area, or break area, and the opulent upper tier, perfect for welcoming up to 350 guests for dining and dancing. Numerous productions have been filmed including the recent 2016 music video “Penthouse” featuring John Legend.
