Historically speaking, The Biltmore has been host to some of the most influential meetings and events. The founding banquet of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences was held in our magnificent Crystal Ballroom in 1927. The hotel went on to host eight Academy Awards banquets in the ‘30s and ‘40s. John F. Kennedy stayed at the hotel and spoke in our ballrooms during the 1960 Democratic National Convention.

Venues Crystal Ballroom
Combining historic charm and modern comforts, the 6,300 square-foot Crystal Ballroom brings sophistication and style to your event. Welcome up to 800 guests under a hand-painted 30-foot ceiling, majestic balconies, and magnificent Austrian crystal chandeliers. Known as “the birthplace of Oscar,” this is where the Oscar statuette is said to have been drawn on a Biltmore napkin during the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ founding banquet.

Clark Gable, Walt Disney, and Spencer Tracy delivered their winning Academy Award speeches in this room. Today, the legendary 11,546 square-foot Biltmore Bowl is large enough to welcome up to 1,000. Blending Hollywood’s Golden Era-period details with modern audio-visual equipment, this room is entertaining in any configuration. The space includes a pre-function foyer, curtained stage, and long balcony that’s perfect for lavish buffet setups.

An impressive space on its own, the intimate Tiffany Room also serves as a pre-function area that connects to the Crystal Ballroom. It features beautiful vaulted wood ceilings, graceful colonnades, and a hand-carved frieze depicting famous explorers tied to California’s history along the north wall.

This stately setting for banquet or reception with up to 350 guests features 24-foot high hand-painted ceiling motifs of harvest and hunt, reflecting the origins of the Emerald Room, our hotel’s original dining room.

The Millennium Boardroom is ideal for executive meetings or professional war room. The 2,400 square-foot space, comfortable for up to 85 depending on configuration, features a wood-paneled boardroom area and game room with an antique billiards table. The boardroom boasts its own fully interactive environment with separate telephone lines, LCD projector, 10’x10’ retractable screen, surround sound, and video conferencing capability.

An intimate space for mid-sized functions and meetings, this well-equipped 4,758 square-foot room is adorned with rich gold and red tones and features square columns on the periphery and wall sconce lighting with delicate dual lamp shades. The inset space for A/V setup, check-ins or display tables makes the Heinsbergen a great choice for up to 300 guests.

Venues Entertainment Suites

In addition to ballrooms and conference areas, Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles offers a variety of Entertainment Suites. Several floor plans are available, with spaces up to 4,100 square feet. If your gathering calls for something on a smaller scale in a more private atmosphere, choose an Entertainment Suite, with signature ambiance options that include the Music Suite and the Presidential Suite.

Venues Mezzanine Breakouts
Our nine mezzanine breakout rooms make for highly versatile event space. Elegantly decorated with hand-painted details, carved plaster ceilings in Greco-Roman motifs, and polished wood-paneled walls, they're perfect for small meetings of 15 or less, or larger sessions of up to 125.
