"Brilliant hotel & fantastic staff"

I recently stayed at the Copthorne in Slough to take part in the Ride the Night overnight charity cycle ride. The hotel itself is comfortable, well furnished, has good food & is well located too but for me it was the staff that really made my stay memorable. From booking to check out they could not have been more friendly, welcoming or helpful. They are a credit to the hotel. I'd certainly stay here again & would recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting the area & certainly to fellow future Ride the Night participants.
A contemporary hotel close to medieval Windsor Castle, the Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor is the perfect base from which to discover historic Windsor. From here, you can marvel at the largest castle in the world, still in use since the Middle Ages, see the Changing of the Guard, and experience Windsor's rich history. With Heathrow Airport a mere 15 minute drive, its an ideal pit-stop for those travelling further afield. Boasting 219 spacious and comfortable rooms, our 4-star hotel aims to send our guests off feeling more relaxed and rejuvenated than when they arrived. We invite you to unwind in our swimming pool, relax with a sauna or pamper yourself with a spa treatment. Family friendly and very close to the popular Lego Land, we aim to leave all our guests with a smile on their face, whatever their age.

Nice clean hotel, good facilities including a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. Two restraunts serving very nice food. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again if going to legoland as it's ten minutes from the park

Was really dubious about booking the hotel when I read the reviews but honestly couldn't fault it. We requested the room to be set up in a certain way to accommodate our family and when we got there it hadn't been. I thought uh-oh here we go... housekeeping lady came up and was lovely!! So accommodating! She even moved furniture out the room so we could fit my son's wheelchair in. We had got there late so didn't fancy heading out for dinner so are in the buffet. Again wasn't holding out much hope but was actually really tasty.Didn't use the pool as we didn't have time but fab location for legoland. Rooms are a bit tired but spotless couldn't fault it.Thank you to the lovely housekeeping lady for sorting our beds out!
Good value accommodation, especially considering it was booked at the last minute for a job interview. Parking was convenient and reasonably priced and we had a good meal in the Bugis Street Brasserie. Room was spacious with good views and two double beds which was a nice touch. Perhaps the best thing about this place however was the attached health club which is free for guests to use. I had a quick swim and used the steam room in the morning, which helped to settle my nerves before my interview! I left a waistcoat in my room and the staff were kind enough to post this back to my home address via 1st class recorded delivery. Very minor suggestion would be to include more shower gel in the room as there wasn't quite enough for two people. Reception staff happily gave us more however. Overall, highly recommended. Lots of character, a few nice perks like the health club, and very helpful staff, far better than one of the mainstream budget hotel brands for the same money.
This place was wonderful... the room (420) was spacious and clean. Only one lift working which was merely a hindrance. Breakfast- A complete bun fight. Choose your time wisely. The food itself was hot and delicious, plenty to get through.Evening meal- A sticky situation. We opted for the £17.50 buffet option, which is ridiculously priced for what is served up. Yes you can eat as much as you like, yes kids eat free, but £17.50 for a plate of food is ridiculous. On the 2nd night the food was so poor I refused to pay the entire bill... the situation was resolved with professionalism by the staff. I'm not sure if there's anything near by to eat, but failing that a better option is to order food in the bar.Staff- Excellent. Even the ones whose English isn't their first language were professional, smart and helpful.Facilities- Parking was excellent. The bar is wonderfully priced (£4.50 a pint). The on-site swimming pool is brilliant.... 1.1m deep throughout, warm and relaxing!I would DEFINATELY stay here again and probably will when we visit Legoland in years to come. Thanks for a great visit, all.
