Venues Crystal Ballroom

A legendary setting, the Crystal Ballroom has an illuminated dance floor, 25-foot gilded dome ceiling and graceful balcony for additional seating. This iconic ballroom has housed many prominent gatherings, conventions, business meetings and extravagant galas. During the early years of the hotel, guests could watch the famous dance of Veloz and Yolanda twirl about the Crystal Ballroom's illuminated glass dance floor, casting a brilliant spectrum of colors. Now plexiglass, the illuminated dance floor, the only one in a Chicago hotel, still dazzles after all these years. Accommodate up to 250 guests in one of the most impressive historic event locations in Chicago, the 4,931 square-foot Crystal Ballroom.

Venues Towers West

Like its counterpart to the east, this west-end space offers the same 1,938 square feet and features. This room has a storied past as it served as Ralph Capone’s speakeasy and lounge. Bring the gang together and combine your event with the Towers East space to add a breakout or food service room.

Venues Promenade
The Promenade connects Towers East and Towers West. This 1,056 square-foot space served as Hugh Hefner's office when he owned the hotel. Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and elegant lighting, the Promenade works well for pre-function, registration or receptions.

Venues Towers East

This soothing, well-lit space on the 14th floor is perfect for corporate meetings or intimate events. Towers East features 1,938 square feet and can accommodate from 51 to 250 guests. Legend has it that Al Capone’s brother Ralph ran an illegal casino, complete with a secret doorway for quick escape – and that doorway still exists! We’re pretty sure your guests won’t want to make an escape from your event though, as they’ll have a fabulous time in this historic room.

This beautiful 1,503-square-foot space, which once served as a fine French restaurant, offers a private setting, complete with warm wood architectural features, artwork, and a built-in bar, all combine to impart the richness of the hotel’s history.
