The Fiordland Cinema was built in 2004 for the pure purpose of screening the film Ata Whenau – Shadowland, a 32-minute movie that takes you to unreachable wilderness. It’s a breathtaking display of rivers and streams, jagged coastline, untouched bushland, majestic mountains, fiords and sounds, native wildlife, and remote waterfalls.
