An interesting place to visit in Rome
The Baths of Diocletian were the largest thermal baths ever built in Rome. The complex, constructed from 298 to 306, could accommodate an estimated 3,000 people.
After a €6.5 million restoration project that took 6 years, the ancient Roman baths of Diocletian in Rome recently reopened to visitors. Treasures on show include the natatio (an open-air swimming pool), the cloister of a Carthusian charterhouse, marble sculptures depicting ancient cults and a frescoed lunette.
