Rome’s Via Vittorio Veneto, locally known as Via Veneto, is one of Italy’s most famous, sophisticated and exclusive streets. Named after the Battle of Vittorio Veneto in 1918, a pivotal turning point for Italy in World War I, this street was also stage to Federico Fellini's masterpiece La Dolce Vita. During the swinging ‘50s and ‘60s, this iconic street was host to Hollywood’s elite; Audrey Hepburn, Orson Wells and Coco Chanel are just some of the names that inhabited the bustling bars and restaurants.

To this day, the street maintains its gracious sweep. Admire some of the world’s most luxurious hotels and the impressive US embassy as you saunter down to Piazza Barberini.
