It’s hard to miss Fiordland House. Just look for the large takahe statue at the front of the shop. When it opened in 1982, the main products were local, handmade knitted jumpers and woollen underwear. Though the owners changed in 1987, the iconic shop kept true to its roots to feature New Zealand-crafted products. Today, you will find a large range of merino and possum leisurewear that is practical and beautiful.
