Come for the view, stay for the mouth-watering delight
I had to travel to Wellington to assist my elderly Mother with some medical procedures and quickly booked this hotel. Wow what fantastic value! We had a large room (Room 302-highly recommend ), it had 2 large extremely comfortable beds which were separated by the bathroom (small bath included which is a must for me!!). The view was fantastic even for such a low floor. The rooms had most things we needed apart from robes/slippers but this is a 4 star and still 5 star value. We had dinner twice which was of a good standard. We did not get a chance for breakfast but were offered a discount to $22 each. Parking is valet and $30 per day. Outside it is a short walk to a supermarket and several cafes. Service was excellent and always with a smile. I will definitely stay here on my next visit which is not too far away.
We stayed two nights here and found the hotel to be of very high quality. Our room faced the harbour overlooking a marina with a balcony view of the city lights. It is close to the wonderful Museum and a ten/ fifteen minute walk to the city. Traffic noise eases off after dark and can be heard during the day. Our room was very comfortable and clean. If the could be anything said against it it would only be the shower which leaked across the floor of the bathroom. Dining was excellent and of very high standard, but not cheap. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely the place to stay in Wellington.
Great location, with very friendly staff and fantastic views from your room, the dining room and bar areas. The rooms are good and very clean. Accommodation rates are good value for your money. Easy walking access to most of Wellingtons main attractions.
