Another weekend stay at the Copthorne Tara and it was equally as good as my last stay. Reception staff will listen to your requests and do their utmost to satisfy you. Just a tip...if you can, go for a Club room..it gives you extra privileges and the staff in the Club room are charming and friendly and do their best to please you. You have a vast selection of hotels in London but the Copthorne Tara is amongst the best and I'm looking forward to my next stay..Hopefully not too long away! Highly recommended...10/10!

Well... yet another great stay in a gem of a hotel tucked away in a side street just a five minute walk from Kensington High Street and its tube station. My girlfriend couldn't make it to Les Miz so my brother stepped into the breach but we needed a twin rather than a double and the hotel accommodated us at very short notice, also cancelling at the last minute a second room which I'd booked in error. As a loyal guest, I had late check out which was mpst welcome after a night out in London. They also included a complimentary cooked breakfast for my brother and I which was most-welcome and extremely tasty. It was St Patrick's Day weekend and also the last set of matches in the Six Nations rugby tornament so London in general and the hotel in particular had a great atmosphere, with loads of the Irish out celebrating and having a good craic. I'll definitely be returning. £93 including breakfast for a one-night stay in a four-star hotel in one of London's best and most-expensive boroughs is not to be sniffed at.
The hotel is close to West Kensington tube, and also close to Kensington High Street with plenty of buses and also a handy nearby Santander Bike stand. The reception staff were very friendly. We asked for a room upgrade which was readily available (at an additional cost) - fair enough. The room was clean and largest a great view to the east (9th floor) of the Eye, the Shard and West London as a whole. Our only regret was that we had to check out a day early (weather alert) and couldn't get a refund of the missed day (advance booking condition), but I was disappointed that I wasn't offered a refund of the upgrade charge!Nonetheless, I would stay here again, but maybe I would forgo a cheaper deal for one with more flexibility.
Stayed here previously - great location - lovely room - very attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast in Brasserie full of choices - hot and good quality. All in all a very enjoyable experience.
