Another weekend stay at the Copthorne Tara and it was equally as good as my last stay. Reception staff will listen to your requests and do their utmost to satisfy you. Just a tip...if you can, go for a Club room..it gives you extra privileges and the staff in the Club room are charming and friendly and do their best to please you. You have a vast selection of hotels in London but the Copthorne Tara is amongst the best and I'm looking forward to my next stay..Hopefully not too long away! Highly recommended...10/10!

Lovely property a bit off the beaten path just 2 short blocks from the Kensington High Street tube station. Easy walk to Hyde Park and Harrods as well as Starbucks for the latte addicted. Whole Foods is nearby for the nights when a take-away salad & a glass of wine in the room holds appeal. Staff were helpful & the room was immaculate. Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay & would definitely return.
Our stay lasted five nights, Friday to Wednesday, which gave us a real chance to see the hotel in operation. In all honesty the hotel suited us perfectly. The staff could not have been more helpful and polite, the room was clean and tidy, we asked for a quiet room and at the front of the hotel we slept soundly until 8 am every morning. The hotel is ideally situated, literally five minutes from Kensington High Street Tube and a host of bus services. However, we walked most of the time, through the local streets rather than the main roads, We never felt threatened nor did we encounter any problems. Just used City Mapper on the mobile and if we needed to simply asked the locals. There are a mirage of restaurants, clubs and pubs to choose from in the area, although usually we walked, there and back, to South Kensington. Within easy reach are Kensington Gardens and through Hyde Park leads to Marble Arch, Oxford Street and you are in the West End.On our last night and after we had packed, we dined in hotel's main restaurant, after enjoying a couple of cocktails each. Again - faultless and decidedly not expensive. All in all an excellent hotel and one in which we will be staying on our next visit to London in 2018.Thank You - Copthorne Tara Hotel.
Husband & I stayed here in September. GREAT location - walked to Kensington Palace and the underground is VERY close. You can get to any part of the city from the underground. Room was well appointed. We were on the 1oth floor and did not hear any noise from the train. It is a BUSY hotel with lots of tour groups, airline crews. The staff is what makes this hotel! We had breakfast each morning and looked for Sana each day! She was always there with a smile and my coffee filled! Jose, the evening bellman/concierge was so informative and friendly! Others that stood out are Francisco, Attila, Alex and Djamel. I know these are all front of house employees - I know there are a LOT of behind the scenes people that make this hotel run so well. I was in the hotel industry for 25 years and know how important service is! On our next trip to London, the Copthorne Tara Hotel will be our stop! THANK YOU!!!
