Excellent, centrally located hotel!

We stayed at the Bostonian for 3 nights and were very impressed. This was our first trip to Boston and we did not rent a car, so we needed a hotel that was in walking distance to all the major attractions. We had no trouble walking all of the Freedom Trail from this hotel, as well as getting down to Long Wharf without an issue. The hotel is located right across the street from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, so there are many dining and shopping options less than a 5 minute walk away. The Haymarket subway stop is a few blocks from the hotel entrance, which we used to make it up to Harvard and down to Quincy Center to visit the John Adams NHP. The Green Dragon Tavern and the Bell in Hand Tavern are within minutes of the hotel, as well as the Union Oyster House. No shortage of restaurants in the area. The only complaint I have about this hotel is the live music that happens at the Quincy Market. Every evening, there is a musical act with microphone and speakers performing outside in front of the market. We could hear this music very clearly from our hotel room and made it difficult to sleep. The music didn't last past 10pm which is very reasonable, but for exhausted travelers that can't stay up late, it was inconvenient. But overall, a great experience at this hotel! The front desk would give us bottled water upon request which was much needed on the hot, humid days we spent in Boston. I would stay here again!

“Great hotel in great location”

We stayed here at the end of our trip to New England. Fantastic location for the Bay Area. Friendly staff and lovey rooms. While in the middle of everything the rooms were still very quiet. Best of all, we were able to walk the short distance to the water taxi to take us over to Logan at the end of our trip. A wonderful end to a great holiday. Would definitely return.

“Bruce the front desk manager 😊👍”

Bruce really helped to make our vacation amazing. We told him it was our anniversary and he upgraded our room and had champagne and fresh fruit sent up to our room! A couple of days later we thought money had been stolen from our safe. I was so impressed by the level of professionalism and competency with which Bruce handled the situation. Truly impressed. Like he literally did everything perfectly. Luckily we realized my husband had actually taken my money thinking it was his own! The hotel location is perfect as well. We were able to walk to literally everything. Highly recommend!
