Covering 132 acres, the Centennial Park in Nashville includes a scenic mile-long walking trail alongside Lake Watauga. Look out for the Parthenon landmark, the Band Shell and other historic monuments. Amenities include two dog parks, volleyball courts and beautiful sunken gardens. The Park even has a special program called “If Trees Could Sing” where certain trees have custom tree signs have QR codes installed, so visitors can view videos of Nashville musicians telling stories about the trees using their smartphones. The park is frequently used to host festivals, exhibitions and events and is a wonderful place to exercise and appreciate Nashville’s natural beauty.
