"Good hotel stay in Shanghai"
LEEKLPMG - Singapore, SIngapore, Dec/26/2016
Nice weekend stay at Grand Millennium Hongqiao. I stayed two relaxing nights at the hotel with my family during the school holidays. Check in was a breeze after our flight from Singapore. The hotel has modern lines and very neat. Rooms are cosy and clean.

Although there are so many new opening hotel in Hongqiao area, but I think this over 12 years hotel maintened quite well. proper trained staff and facilities. I booked hotel through Ctrip, around RMB850, 10th floor, facing the construction building, but supprised , not heard any nosie from there. I have to cathed morning train and only have a quick breakfast, wish next time can enjoyed breakfast. This hotel have a lovely small garden, and it was snowing those days, hotel staff built a very cute snow man there.
Good value for the money. Clean and close to metro line 10. Excellent hotel for Jewish traveler - the hotel is very close to local Chabad house and also to the Jewish community center (JCC) which has Sefaradi/Israel prayers.
We recently spent 7 nights here, visiting family. The hotel is a large not brand new but modern facility. The lobby is rally quite grand and reminds one of the " old " grand hotels. Excellent speedy reception and room delivery. Room is large and spacious with a nice lounge are and desk. While not super modern it has been modernised well with plenty of outlets, lights, computer terminals, electric curtains etc. Good to have a mini bar and more so a kettle for tea and coffee. Large bathroom with separate bath and shower and nice amenities. Room was clean and well cleaned daily. Very impressed by the good soundproofing. We were very busy so hardly used the hotel's extensive facilities but enjoyed very much the singer and piano player in the lounge when we came in on two evenings.
Journey back in time, where a wonderful mélange of quaint cafes, galleries, and stylish dining options line the leafy backstreets.
Be charmed over by the delicate beauty of the classical garden dating back to Ming Dynasty.
At night, the bank of Huangpu River, studded with impressive buildings, skyscrapers, and restaurants, becomes a truly dazzling sight.
