Art lovers are guaranteed a good time at this gallery which is as known for its collection as it is for its historical antecedents. Occupying a historic building constructed in 1924 and which previously housed the former Bank of New Zealand, the Left Bank Gallery has an enviable collection of pounamu featuring works from across  New Zealand. Also on display are works in jade which have also featured in the Contemporary Stone Awards.
