Five Mile Centre is Queenstown's newest shopping area, which opened in October 2015. The area, which is centred around the Countdown supermarket chain, was a testament to the booming economy. There are currently 20 stores, and that number is set to increase with more and more retailers opening their shops during stage two of the development. For now, you'll find popular brands such as Cafe Society, Briscoes, Bed Bath & Beyond, Rebel Sport, and Hardy's Health.
