An original, multi-facetted institution, Les Arts Décoratifs is a museum of the decorative arts and design in the western wing of the Palais du Louvre. The objective, “to keep alive in France the culture of the arts which seek to make useful things beautiful” is very much adhered to. Here visitors are treated to decorative art displays and examples from medieval times to the present day.
