The Otago Museum has a range of exhibits covering local and international history. Well laid-out galleries feature Tangata Whenua local iwi treasures, Maritime History, People of the World and the Animal Attic. The attractions also include special exhibitions, a butterfly enclosure, the Perpetual Garden Planetarium and Discovery Squad, a science-based children’s museum.
