Disc or frisbee golf has gained popularity over the years, with the active sport a long-time favourite of Queenstown residents. It's played the same way as regular golf but with frisbees. Each of the 18 holes are given a degree of difficulty and the aim is to get your disc in the ‘hole’ within a certain number of shots or fewer. It's a fun way to see the public gardens, get some exercise, and get your game on. Check out the Queenstown Disc Golf website for rules. Disc rentals and sales are available at Small Planet on Shotover Street.
