A birding enthusiast’s and wildlife lover’s dream come true, Potter Marsh provides a great break from city based activities. There is a 1,550-feet-long boardwalk running across the marsh and over the waterways, so visitors can explore the area without disturbing the birds and other animals. Patient birdwatchers might spot an eagle’s nest or two by using binoculars. In May and June, you might even catch sight of a moose.
