Experience movie magic in the flesh at Fernside Gardens, which has an ornamental lake that was transformed into a section of Lothlórien, home of the Elves for The Lord of the Rings films. One of the most beautiful historic gardens in the country, Fernside was established around 1870. The English-style grounds feature water gardens, sculptures, native birds and seasonal plants that showcase stunning spring and summer blooms as well as the vibrant colours of autumn.
