A fair bit of Singapore’s history can be traced back to Fort Canning Park. Set upon a hill that was once home to the Malay kings, the grounds were also the headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks. Today, the lush park is home to theatrics, festivals and celebrations. It also plays host to many open-air concerts, plays and film screenings. Grab a picnic blanket and settle in for some outdoor drama and culture.
