China Central Television (CCTV), the national TV station, is possibly one of the most famous architectural new buildings in the Central Business District. This is mainly due to its impressive size and unique architecture that makes it look magnificent from every angle. Sadly, you can’t enter to explore, but the exterior makes for fantastic, Instagram-worthy snaps that can look distinctively other-worldly. Situated amongst busy traffic, and sometimes smog, this stand-out building on the Beijing skyline is also surrounded by eateries so go take a look up – and then a look down at a menu.
