The Japanese American National Museum houses a world-class collection of exhibits that aim to promote greater understanding of America’s ethnic diversity, particularly regarding Japanese culture. It is the largest museum of its kind in America and offers audio guides, tours and special events to enhance the visitor’s experience. Exhibitions continually evolve and often include paintings, documents, objects, paper craft and photographs that date back to the early days of the Issei pioneers.
