“Excellent 2 day stay.”

This was our first visit to the Copthorne Plymouth but will not be the last. Every single member of staff we encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful. The location was central for the city centre and just a short walk from the station, we arrived by train so can not comment on parking. The breakfast was lovely, plentiful, varied and of excellent quality. I genuinely can not think of anything to complain about. Well done Copthorne we’ll be back!!

“An excellent overnight”

This is a very useful, comfortable, friendly hotel, situated convenient to Plymouth railway station, several bus routes, and to the City Centre, so particularly useful if travelling by public transport. My room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, just as needed. Breakfast was typical buffet and well presented - maybe a wider choice of cereals would have been nice eg granola, but also nice availability of hot food and cold slices of cooked meats and cheeses. Impressed that the manager came round to say hello to the guests. The evening meal was good, prompt service by charming staff. Struggling too find anything negative to say- the worst I can come up with us the [very good lifts] weren't not displaying which floor you had reached.

Stayed for 12 nights as on a two week training course in Plymouth, nice comfortable room, all amenities available hot and cold drinks (cold kept in room fridge, found the fridge handy to store extra milk!) as not keen on the cartons of milk nice hot shower and bath however shower does take a while to warm up bed and towels changed daily, hotel good location and easy access to all Plymouth attractions within walking distance beware if on foot of the hills! as the hotel is at the top of a hill, good selection at breakfast and nice friendly staff and good to see the hotel manager around the hotel greeting guests at breakfast, also nice to get a complimentary drinks voucher a nice touch too. and a nice fitness suite for guests to use,a few minor issues slight peel on wallpaper in room, warm room had to keep fan on or open window also as light sleeper and at back of hotel could hear students in the student flats opposite and the seagulls flying around all night
