Great hotel, it is very centrally located, just steps from the Metro and a short walk to the Opera and great shopping. The hotel is very 'French' rather than a typical cookie cutter hotel. Well furnished room, great bathroom. Staff were exceptional and went well out of their way to make sure our stay was great.

My friend and I recently traveled to France and stayed several nights at the Mellennium Hotel Paris Opera on two separate occasions. We were always greeted with warmth and genuine friendliness. The staff were always very happy to answer our mundane questions and help us out with out stuttering French. Rooms were fairly large and beds were very comfortable. My only criticism is that the rooms were too hot in April. However, the housekeeping staff happily changed my bedding to something more suitable. Five stars for service and friendliness.
Stayed here with my fiancee for about a week and just went through each day's itinerary as it comes along. This was all thanks to the very helpful and accomodating Jelome of front desk. She is very attentive to our needs and helpful on our everyday adventure. Nice location and accessible making Paris a walkable city.
Stayed here with my partner on our first trip to Paris and couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Prior to arrival I confirmed our booking with the hotel via email and received a very warm and helpful reply which not only confirmed our stay but helped me out by advising me to use only the registered taxis on arrival and not the guys that just approach you to prevent being ripped off and they even said that they would happily look after our cases all day on our departure day as there was a good 8 hours between check out and our train back home.We stayed in a club room which was absolutely beautifully decorated with a very classic art deco feel bathroom and had a small balcony over looking the boulevard. The room was not massive but European hotel rooms never are. The bed was of a very good size and very comfortable indeed. Even though we were over looking a very busy road with french doors onto the balcony we never experienced any noise problems. Being in a club room meant we had access to the executive lounge which we made use of before going down for breakfast for free coffees and pastries and then in the evening we enjoyed free wine, coke, canapes, fruit and coffee in a cosy lounge with a TV and newspapers.Breakfast itself was a buffet style breakfast and was incredibly varied, everything from cold ham to hot sausages to chinese noodles! The only thing I did miss were fried eggs. Maybe I'm just being very British!Overall I have no complaints whatsoever. The hotel is beautiful throughout and the staff are incredibly helpful and were very patient with my lack of French and all spoke very good English. Also its in a perfect location for if you want to do all the tourist things. We walked to everything and saw all the major sites that Paris has to offer.
