Stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend with a friend from Liverpool and I could not fault this hotel We normally stay at other chains so I was nervous as to what to expect but I can honestly say that the staff were far friendlier and knowledgeable than any hotels we've stayed in before! The staff are willing to do anything to make your stay lovely!

Stayed for 2 nights and would recommend. Stayed overnight to attend a conference which was being held in one of the conference rooms. Great service during the conference and the dinner provided was great. The room was very spacious and overlooked the river with excellent views. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would recommend.
Loved our 1 night stay. Very clean and food was amazing in the restaurant. Breakfast I would have loved a bit more variety. The bathroom could do with an update. The views from our room were amazing as it was a clear sunny night and the reflection on the Tyne just out of this world.
My friend and I went for Gin and Tonic afternoon tea yesterday. The hotel was warm and welcoming and the staff were brilliant. The gin was an elderflower gin and served in an enormous glass. It was delicious. The afternoon tea consisted of four different fillings in the sandwich’s all of which we liked ( which is unusual). There was a delicious scone with jam and cream and a selection of small cakes. The atmosphere was friendly and cosy and the staff were very attentive.I would highly recommend
