Stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend with a friend from Liverpool and I could not fault this hotel We normally stay at other chains so I was nervous as to what to expect but I can honestly say that the staff were far friendlier and knowledgeable than any hotels we've stayed in before! The staff are willing to do anything to make your stay lovely!

A very classy hotel close to all places in the city and across the river e.g. the Sage. Excellent, very helpful staff make it a relaxing place to stay and the rooms have brilliant views of the river - and, of course, the bridges for which Newcastle is famous.
Great location, near to Sage Gateshead. Nice view over the Tyne from room. Excellent breakfast and very nice, professional staff. Only down side is you do hear the trains coming over the railway bridge, but if you want to be near to things that's the price you pay! Overnight parking cost us £9 .
stayed here for one night and it was in a perfect location right on the river front. The receptionist was friendly and we upgraded our room and we were on the top floor overlooking the river which was nice. The room was clean and comfortable, however the bathroom could do with a facelift but it was clean and had fresh towels so no real complaints it just let it down a little bit.We had breakfast the next morning and this was a self service and it was one of the best breakfasts we have had. Loads of hot fresh food which tasted really good. The breakfast was expensive and we wouldn't have paid it but it came with the room. We got given a free drink on the evening in the bar area which was a really nice touch but we didn't eat in the restaurant. Parking was around £8 overnight which wasn't to bad considering its location in the city and the parking was in a multistory car park. Overall we would stay again as it was good value for money and a pleasant stay
