The term ‘Broadway’ is now synonymous with theater in New York. This seems fair, given that the actual street in Manhattan holds numerous theaters and is considered the beating heart of the theatre industry in America. Broadway is part of the area of Times Square, an area familiar to many because of the New Year’s Eve Ball drop from the Times Building. This bustling square, which is actually more of a bow-tie in shape, never sleeps and always has a plethora of activities to entertain New York locals and visitors. Watch a musical, shop for luxury goods, let your curiosity run amok at one of the many museums, relax over an exquisite meal as you watch the sun set or get a deep tissue massage at one of the many spas that dot the area.  Confused? Then you’ll definitely need our guide to Broadway and Times Square to make this iconic area your own.
