The Biltmore has to be one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. There is so much history here, you can lose time just looking around. Take your time when staying here, look closely at the ornate, classic work put into building this gem. Check out the pool area downstairs, it is like stepping into the 1920's.
The home of Hollywood glamour, the historic Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles has been the choice of celebrities, presidents, and dignitaries, and the backdrop for many movies and TV shows.
Designated as a historic-cultural landmark, the interior of this beloved 1923 hotel features frescos and murals, carved marble fountains and columns, crystal chandeliers, and embroidered tapestries. Our hotel has 70,000 sq ft (6,503 sqm) of flexible event space and has earned top industry awards year after year. All 683 guest rooms and suites are richly appointed, and facilities include a sauna, steam room and Roman-style pool. Newly-renovated rooms uphold the hotel’s timeless elegance, combined with modern conveniences that ensure a comfortable stay. Set in the heart of LA’s vibrant cultural district, visiting nearby attractions like The Broad contemporary art museum, Walt Disney Concert Hall, L.A. LIVE, and the Los Angeles Convention Center could not be easier. Millennium Biltmore Los Angeles is ready for its close-up.

I was traveling with friends, one of whom had worked there 35-40 years ago and suggested we all stay there one night. It was a highlight for me. I'm glad this hotel still has the style and beauty it was designed with.

First time to USA - First stop Great stay for 6 nightsThe room was lovely - great beds , beautiful sleep but downside - no view Especially the lovely Pool, Fitness Centre, and lovely Housekeeping or attendant at the pools who didn't rush us to leave as we were there way over the closing time, hehe and was happy to let us take our time to leave The lift ride was fun, many levels and felt like a ride to end our day from walking around and visiting many placesLocation was great in Downtown LA - close by the Walgreens which had everything we need and also easy to catch the transportation and the other side with a 10 minute walk to Grand Central Markets with many great food to tryGoing Home was a breeze with Express checkout and Taxi rank in front of the hotel
I've actually stayed at this hotel. They offer good corporate rates. However, my review is for the Whisky Extravaganza event I attended on 11/16/17. This event is held annually at major metropolitan cities. The fee is $150 and includes an impressive spread of food. There were whiskies from all around the world. It was a cool night, so even though you are supposed to taste the whiskies similar to wine (put a little bit on your tastebuds and throw the remainder out), your body got warm. It is a leisurely event. Many peeps eat a little, taste a little, eat some more, taste some more, eat dessert, and then taste a few more whiskies. I had a dinner meeting beforehand, so I wasn't hungry. Nonetheless, the food looked very appetizing. The service from the Biltmore staff was what you would have expected from a classic hotel. They staff was super attentive, polite and nice overall. They were much better vs the staff at the LA Athletic Club, where this event has been held in the past.Likewise, the crowd was much better vs the Athletic Club. The latter had poorly dressed individuals wearing baseball caps and jeans in a private club despite the warnings not to. Several men wore kilts to this: Way to represent!I have been to the Biltmore for many reasons over the years: Business trips, business events, and now the Whisky Extravaganza. All have been very pleasant experiences. I can't wait to return next year!
The hotel has a unique kind of charm. Everyone was extremely approachable, warm and gracious. The Rendezvous Court was a wonderful retreat. The history of the hotel is fascinating and it's great to walk its grand halls. Food is good but bring your wallet if you want to drink. Alcoholic beverages are pricey (but that's probably to be expected in LA) My room was quiet and very clean. Would stay there again.
