Only fresh, seasonal ingredients are carefully chosen and cooked in the Italian inspired creations served in Olive’s Restaurant in South Kensington.
Many of our dishes use ingredients sourced from Italy so you can enjoy a long lunch with friends or a family gathering as if you’re there, even if only for a few hours. For instance, we source well-known Italian cheese such as Mozzarella direct from its birthplace in Campania and similarly our Burrata comes from Puglia. Sometimes we’ll source closer to home and use suppliers such as Natoora to make sure we use seasonal.
Olive’s restaurant is ideal for a pre-theatre dinner in London, for which we have a menu, as we are opposite Gloucester Road station where a tube can whisk you off to a West End theatre in minutes.
Our mouth-watering Italian classics often served with a twist have earnt us an AA Rosette for culinary excellence 9 years in a row. Combine our carefully created dishes with an elegant yet lively restaurant ambiance and friendly service and you have the right ingredients for a memorable meal with your loved ones or colleagues.
Lunch Special Menu starts from £9.95 [12 pm – 3:00 pm]
Pre-Theatre Menu starts from £16 (12 pm – 6:30 pm]
Chef Davide Di Croce has been at the helm of Olives Restaurant for many years now. Having arrived on London 15 years ago, Davide has built up an extensive list of impressive former workplaces, included in these are the kitchens of the Kyatt, Kempinsky and the Berkeley to name just a few.
Such a prestigious career has allowed Davide to perfect his skill, hone his style and given him the confidence to twist old classics into modern favourites. His love of Italy shines through all his dishes and when tasting some of Olive's firm favourites: the Lasagna Di Manzo, Tagliatelle with Lobster, Garlic & Chili, Saffron Risotto with Braised Veal & Bone Marrow or even a Mixed Fish Grill and Lamb Rump served with Vegetable Caponata and Red Wine Jus, guests are transported back to the Di Croce family restaurant where Davide's imagination was sparked and where he decided to pursue a culinary career.
Today, Davide has brought his own simple, flavoursome style to The Bailey's Hotel and elevated Olive to be the AA Rosette restaurant that it is where "fresh produce, passion and love are the basic ingredients of any recipe."
