"Elegant hotel, nice location"

The hotel was beautiful, especially the lobby area. Rooms were comfortable, although a bit small. Very nice bar area. The staff were fantastic, going out of their way to be helpful. The location is good, in very upscale Mayfair, right by the American Embassy and an easy walk to a lot of restaurants and shops. Very much enjoyed my stay here.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful location and superb guest services: a winner on all accounts. The trip was for a honeymoon and to London for the first time. We were treated so well. I wish we were just starting the stay. .
I visited for 6 nights mid december.2 nights with a friend and 4 nights alone.mainly for shopping and going to shows/concerts.We had executive lounge access and this was the highlight of this hotel.from the moment we arrived we were treated so well by Oliver and Selam.these 2 individuals are a credit to this establishment.they looked after my friend and i so well and after my friend left this continued so much so that i felt at the end i left as a friend.they are so professional, friendly, knowledegable and unobtrusive. The quality of my rooms and service varied.i started off on 6th floor but due to refurbishment on the 7th floor i had to ask to be moved due to construction noise.in fairness this was dealt with very promptly by reception and David the porter.the quality of fixtures and fittings were nicer on the 1st floor which i was moved to on the 4th night but sadly the turndown service did not exist for the last 3 nights. There seemed to be a difference in housekeeping from my experience of the first 3 nights. But on the whole the experience of the stay was excellent and good value for money.i met some lovely fellow guests and pretty much all of the staff i met were lovely.breakfast a bit chaotic on weekends so chose to have breakfast in exec lounge which was far less limited but a more pleasant quieter experience.cannot wait for my next visit.i certainly will return
An enjoyable experience given to us as a gift. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious including sandwiches, scones, cakes and patisseries. All this served on delicate china in very pleasant surroundings? We were encouraged to try a tea we had not had before and if we did not like it they would bring another flavour until we found one we liked! And of course we started the tea with a glass of champagne and any remaining cakes we were able to take away. Altogether a most pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
