Loved the comfortable spacious room and the view onto the square. The bathtub was wonderful and the bed very comfortable. As well, the room was quiet and I heard no noise from neighbours which is very important to me.

Large comfortable twin room. We paid a bit extra for a large room with a view over the square and were not disappointed. Excellent location for catching a train from Queen St. Very Good breakfast!

Had lunch. Festive menu with 3 choices for each course. Can have 1 /2/or 3 courses. Meal was hot and service good.Staff attentive but not pushy. Restaurant was clean and tidy.Lovely outlook to George Square.
have visited several times before for weekend away with friend , never dissappointed with service or quality , everyone always friendly and helpful . Room has just been revamped and new bathroom which was lovely .
We arrived on a cold wet December afternoon without a reservation having just checked out of another hotel early because the place was so awful. What could have been a disastrous night out was salvaged by a lovely Receptionist (sorry I cannot remember her name but she wore really nice spectacles with pink sides so she’ll be easy to spot). She found us a great room overlooking the Christmas Markets in George Sq at a very good price (probably felt sorry for 2 half-frozen bedraggled visitors dripping rain water onto the foyer carpets). There is a lovely glass fronted bar looking into the street which is a great spot for people watching. Great old hotel in an excellent location. Will definitely return.
