Loved the comfortable spacious room and the view onto the square. The bathtub was wonderful and the bed very comfortable. As well, the room was quiet and I heard no noise from neighbours which is very important to me.

Large comfortable twin room. We paid a bit extra for a large room with a view over the square and were not disappointed. Excellent location for catching a train from Queen St. Very Good breakfast!

The overall experience was excellent. Our only issue was when I booked the room I was informed by email that we would be overlooking George Square. In fact our room was at the rear of the hotel overlooking the air conditioning units and entrance to the railway station.
Right on George Square, this hotel is very convenient to Glasgow City centre, next to Queen St station (quick rip to Stirling/Edinburgh etc ) and there are plenty of good pubs and restaurants in easy walking distance. The hotel is older in style and the room we had was huge (lounge floor).A Good breakfast was served and a bar/cafe for lunch. The staff were very helpful.Parking and drop off can be a problem so I suggest taxi instead.
Booked this hotel as had an early departure for your to Skye on arrival we were lucky enough to be upgraded was blown away by the room we were given as it turned out to be a luxury suite and it was huge could not have been anymore thrilled service was excellent had dinner and breakfast at hotel food was very good and staff were friendly and attentive both in the restaurant and reception I was unable to close a window in the room and spoke to reception and the had someone come sort it out very quickly will definitely stay agai
