Five days, just five days left... we simply can't wait!

There's less than a week left until the Travel Bloggers Conference, a special evening event hosted by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels on 7th October, offering travel bloggers the chance to meet up and talk about the industry.

We've invited some of the industry's most respected travel journalists and bloggers to come along and share their wisdom and impart useful advice and tips to those seeking similar success with their travel writing.

The event, which is at the elegant Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington, one of the plushest hotels in Kensington, London, will include panel discussions with our special guests, offering their own top tips on travel writing and what it takes to be successful, before taking audience questions.

The panel will discuss all aspects of successful travel writing online and also how to make use of social media, SEO and web networking to publicise travel blogs and sites.

Simon Calder is Senior Travel Editor forThe Independent,writing a weekly column as well as articles and features. He also writes for Condé Nast Traveller, High Life(BA's inflight magazine) andTravel Trade Gazette,as well as many other publications.

Simon is regularly interviewed on TV about travel stories and events. He is a frequent guest on BBC Breakfast News, Daybreak, ITV NewsandSky News.He is also the presenter ofFast Track's Travel Clinic with Simon Calderon BBC World, where he answers holiday questions from viewers.

Sally Shalam reviews small, independently owned places to stay - hotels, B&Bs, pubs, restaurants with rooms and self-catering holiday houses (the only review column to do these) for Guardian Travel. Sally also writes forCondé Nast Travellerand regularly speaks at travel and tourism events, and acts as a judge at tourism awards.

Julie Falconer is a London-based travel writer and consultant. She writes an award-winning travel and lifestyle blog,A Lady in London, for which she has travelled to over 90 countries. She is also an online strategy and social media consultant, public speaker and freelance travel writer.

Julie's writing has featured in National Geographic Intelligent Travel, Time Out, Lonely Planet and in other leading publications. She also teaches regular classes on social media and blogging in London, and has lectured and given talks about travel at Cambridge University, as well as other universities.

Sam Haseltine has an astute capacity for creative digital endeavours. Sam built and sold his first digital venture while still at university. He has seen all of Greenlight's social campaigns through from conception to execution and beyond, and is the mastermind behind their most innovative concepts. He has an insatiable curiosity and passion for social media. Determined to keep abreast of the latest trends, technological innovations and creative campaigns, Sam's personal research is a 24/7 avocation.
