Experience Luxury for Less in London
London has long been one of the world’s premier destinations for luxury experiences. From fine dining to lavish shopping, you’ll find famous names tucked alongside exclusive spots. Think Harrods, Cartier, The Ivy, Duck and Waffle, and the Saatchi Gallery. Whatever your taste, there’s an indulgence to suit you.
But in the English capital, opulence isn’t just for the rich. Luxury can be found for a fraction of the price, if you know where to look. And who better to reveal the secret spots – where living the high-life doesn’t cost the earth – than local Londoners themselves?
Get the London Look
Treating yourself to a spot of pampering is a great way of getting in the mood for exploring one of the planet’s coolest cities. So before hitting the town, make sure you’re looking your best.
Lifestyle blogger Rosie Blake knows the struggle of choosing beauty treatments in a city that’s bursting at the seams with choice.
‘There are so many options in London but it can be hard to tell where to go for a great treatment, good service and a good price.’

Her recommendation is Sorbet Salon for facials, nails and eyebrow threading – offering high-end luxury with a tiny price-tag.
For the gentleman wanting to look sharp about London town, finding a quality shave and cut can be tough. Like many people, blogger Aaron George D is selective about his hairdresser.
‘I’m extremely fussy when it comes to my hair and I’d been using the same barber since before I could even walk. I’ve had to accept that I can’t keep this up, and have been searching for the right barbers ever since. I was kindly invited by the team at Murdock to visit one of their barbers for a trim. I can tell you now it was one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a while.’

Indulge in Delectable Dining
The French may be famed for pastries, and the Italians for their pasta, but for fine dining that pushes boundaries, London is a world leader. When it comes to mastering cuisines, and experimenting with flavours, ingredients and fusions – nowhere else compares.
The British food revolution has been a grassroots one. For every Michelin star chef that has opened a London property, there’s an affordable pop-up creating mouth-watering dishes that won’t break the bank.

The Taproom in London Fields began life as a pop-up. Taking international influence from Berlin cuisine, this innovative location offers gourmet food, for pocket-money prices.
Speaking about an early incarnation of The Taproom, blogger Katy English said:
‘It was absolutely one of the best brunches I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for something slightly different but absolutely wonderful and delicious and amazing, I really can’t recommend […] enough.’

Long, lazy brunches are the perfect way to spoil yourself every once in a while – so make sure you pencil in some time to relax and indulge on your trip to London.
