The Adventure Travel Show, now in its 18th year, is the UK's only event dedicated to discovering the world's hidden gems; those places typically found off the beaten track. Forget about booking villas beside the sea, the holidays sold here are jam-packed full of adrenalin and breathlessness - it's all about adventure, man!

This event gives adrenalin junkies the chance to meet some of the world's most renowned specialist adventure companies face-to-face. Not only can they chat to representatives about the holidays on offer but they can also plan their trips well in advance too.

Remember the holidays on offer here aren't for sangria-sippers and sun-seekers. We're talking full on African safaris, rock climbing in the Alps, sky diving in New Zealand and elephant rides in Thailand. Nevertheless there's talks to attend on a variety of subjects relating to adventure, so you don't necessarily need to be planning a wild trip up a steep mountain to head on over to the Olympia. Take the wildlife photography seminars, for example. If you're an amateur wildlife photographer and keen to improve the quality of your snaps, this may be the event for you. Not only will expert speakers shares tips and hints to improve your images but they'll also share in some of their own experiences too.

Did we mention there's also a mini film festival going on? No, well there's a mini film festival going on as well.
