Designed by architect Arata Isozaki, the classical MOCA Grand Avenue building was completed in 1986. It now houses the main galleries of a modern art museum along with the Lemonade Café, offices and the flagship museum store. Exhibitions include ever-changing selections from the Permanent Collection, which consist of over 7,000 post-war art and objects. Also on show are a range of media by famous artists including John Chamberlain, Franz Kline, Joan Miro, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko and Andy Warhol.
