This scenic seaside track starts at Port Taranaki and snakes its way along to Bell Block Beach. There are many entry points along the way. It took 18 years for the 12.7-kilometre path to be complete. The walkway will bring you to Te Rewa Rewa Bridge, which crosses the Waiphakaiho River. The 83-metre footbridge was designed to complement the area’s ocean influence. Walking the coast is an activity for everyone to enjoy. The TBS Bank has donated free mobility scooters that can be collected from the Todd Energy Aquatic Centre between 8am and noon and 1pm-5pm every day except Christmas. Bookings via the council are recommended.
