The Gordon Highlanders Museum is the only 5-star accredited Visit Scotland attraction throughout the region. Located in the fashionable heart of Aberdeen’s west end, the museum tells the fascinating 200 year story of “the Finest Regiment in the World!” Once the home of local born artist George Reid, the museum houses a captivating series of interactive exhibitions and displays. Each exhibition has been carefully curated, documenting the life and battles of the Gordon Highlanders throughout the ages. Take a trip through time, starting with India and the expansion of the British Empire in 1787, to the post war period in West Germany and Northern Ireland. The Museum is open all year round, and provides guided tours of the Museum and collections.
