The Hongshan Archaeological Site, in Wuxi, is considered the cradle of Wu culture dating back to the spring and autumn Periods (770-256 BC) and the Warring States Period (475-221 BC). The museum opened in 2008 and is a National 4A Tourist Attraction. It boasts relics from the tomb complex along the lower Yangtze River. These demonstrate the Celadon techniques, display miniature jade engravings, the burial system, and the rites and music of the times. Visit the museum in Wuxi.
