American Museum of Natural History, Central Park West at 79th Street, New York, NY 10024-5192
Holidaymakers staying in New York hotels can take a virtual journey into space if they visit a special exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History - but they haven't got long left to do so.
The attraction is currently showing Journey to the Stars, which is narrated by Whoopi Goldberg and tells the fascinating story of how stars live and die, as well as revealing dazzling images taken from earth and telescopes.
Physics-based simulations bring stars to life, with visitors able to find out more about our sun, red giants and white dwarfs - as well as what will become of earth when the sun reaches the end of its life.
"Those who come along for the journey may never see the night sky in the same way again," the official website states, while National Geographic promises that "the visuals will blow you away".
However, the exhibition will move on after September 1st 2013, so anyone who wants to see it needs to act quickly.
Guests of the Premier Hotel New York should be able to find the museum easily, as it is situated on Central Park West at 79th Street.
