Soul Asylum are an alt-rock band who were founded in Minneapolis way back in 1983.
Following on from their debut effort - 1984's Say What You Will, Clarence... Karl Sold the Truck - they went on to release a string of critically acclaimed albums in the 1980s.
However, it was in the 1990s when their popularity truly soared, with 1992's Grave Dancers Union going triple platinum and follow-up Let Your Light Shine going platinum.
Indeed, they went on to play at Bill Clinton's inauguration.
Last year, they released their latest album - Delayed Reaction - and the band are currently on the road in support of it.
On January 30th, they will be playing the Old Rock House in St Louis.
Residents at the Millennium Hotel St Louis will be able to get to the venue in just a couple of minutes if they drive or jump in a taxi.
