When visiting a new city, it is always a good idea to check out the events calendars of local museums, as they always have something interesting and educational going on.
Guests at Chicago hotels will find they are spoilt for choice when it comes to such attractions - but the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum could be the place to head on June 18th, as it is hosting Nature on Tap.
Between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. CDT, ticketholders will be granted exclusive access to the building, including the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven that houses more than75 species of exotic butterflies and birds and a range of temporary exhibitions.
There will also be crafts to try, a bar and a science-themed trivia quiz offering teams the chance to win a coveted Golden Cockroach trophy, all for the bargain price of $10.
Residents of the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago can get to the museum in five minutes by road, so a taxi there and back should not prove too expensive.
