Dropkick Murphys are a punk rock band who were formed in Qunicy, Massachusetts back in 1996.
Debut album Do Or Die came out just two years later and it quickly endeared them to adherent followers of the genre.
No less than seven albums have followed on from this release in the intervening years - the latest of which has only just been released.
Entitled Signed and Sealed in Blood, the band's eighth album took its name from a lyric in the lead single - Rose Tattoo.
Dropkick Murphys are currently on the road in support of this release - and on March 12th and 13th, they are due to travel to New York to play two shows at the city's Terminal 5 venue.
Entry costs $33.50 when booked in advance - and residents of the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York will be able to get to the venue in less than ten minutes if they jump in a taxi.
