New filmmaking talent highlighted at the LAMVF in LA

The Los Angeles Music Video Festival (LAMVF) is set to take place at the Downtown Independent on October 17th.
It will be getting underway at 9:00 p.m. PDT and is expected to last two hours.
A series of videos from LAMVF alumni director and Music Video Production Association award winner Hiro Mural will be screened at the event.
As well as his acclaimed work, there will also be shorts from a selection of other up-and-coming directors.
Some very special guest collaborators will be coming along to participate in a question and answer session afterwards.
The event is free when booked in advance - or $5 on the door - and this includes some of the venue's famous drinks specials.
Visitors to the city who are travelling to take in the night's entertainment could always book rooms at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles, which is just over half a mile away from the venue.
