Charlie Wilson is a legendary R&B singer-songwriter who is perhaps best recognised as the lead vocalist for The Gap Band back in the 1970s and 1980s.
This combo was a powerful funk group, who maintained a strong presence on the live circuit until they split in 2010.
Wilson has also embarked on a successful solo career and maintains all the vocal power he always had.
On February 16th, he will be heading to the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles to play a gig with local R&B group The Whispers.
