About the Hotel

The Lakefront Anchorage, formerly Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage, offers modern, lodge-like accommodations on the shores of Lake Spenard and Lake Hood. Just a mile from Ted Stevens International Airport, this lakefront hotel is ideally situated for an Alaskan adventure. Downtown Anchorage is a short four mile drive away.

The Lakefront is truly the area’s most unique hotel. The lobby is rich with displays of animals indigenous to Alaska, including a Kodiak brown bear, polar and black bears. Numerous king salmon, moose and caribou mounts also adorn the spacious lobby. From a lakeside deck, guests can watch over 200 floatplanes land every day at Lake Hood, the largest and busiest floatplane base in the world. A passenger can step off a floatplane, check into one of our well-appointed rooms and be on the deck for a drink or meal within 10 minutes.

Guest rooms are newly renovated and spacious, featuring warm earth tones and an upscale, lodge-like feel. Each room has a refrigerator, in-room safe, and a range of additional amenities. Visitors can choose from a deluxe king or double queen room as well as three oversized suites. On-site amenities include complimentary Internet and a fitness center.

Dining options at this Anchorage hotel not only provide delicious menus, they also have stunning lake views. Casual, all-day fare is available at the Fancy Moose Lounge, and fresh Alaskan seafood awaits at the Flying Machine Restaurant. The Deck at Lake Hood is a popular seasonal outdoor patio with spectacular sunsets and an abundance of floatplane landings throughout the summer.

Make your next event special at The Lakefront, one of the most versatile Anchorage meeting and wedding venues, catering to gatherings large and small.
