Ben Sollee is a fantastically original singer-songwriter, who has created some highly innovative and distinctive material.
His sound is characterised by a unique mix of folk, bluegrass, jazz and R&B - and Sollee has become known for his thrilling cello-playing in particular.
Fourth album Half-Made Man has been released recently - and it has been praised as a revealing and deeply moving work that explores a central character's efforts to get to grips with his own identity.
On February 16th, Sollee is set to travel to St Louis, Missouri to play a gig at the city's Old Rock House.
Entry costs just $10 when booked in advance - or tickets can be purchased for $12 at the door on the night of the performance.
Residents at the Millennium Hotel St Louis will find that they can get to the venue in a little under five minutes if they take a cab.
Frontier Ruckus and Water Liars will both be playing at the Old Rock House on October 26th.
