Caveman are an up-and-coming shoegaze act who were formed in New York.

Their first album - entitled CoCo Beware - was only released in 2011, but it firmly established the band with a moody statement of intent.

It demonstrated that the group had very quickly mastered the art of creating rock songs that are at once intimate and expansive.

Four-part harmonies, crystalline guitar lines and tracks that seesawed between echoey lullaby and shoegaze characterise the album.

On March 8th, the band is set to travel to St Louis, Missouri to play a gig at the city's Old Rock House.

Entry costs $10 when booked in advance, or some tickets will be available for $12 at the door on the day of the performance.

Visitors to the city who are hoping to catch the show could book rooms at the Millennium Hotel St Louis, as it is a short, five-minute drive away from the venue.
