Americana musician Lee DeWyze plays St Louis
| Date | From 06 November 2012 To 06 November 2012 |
| Address | Old Rock House, 1200 7th Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63104 |
Singer-songwriter Lee DeWyze is a highly acclaimed performer who is known for his rough-hewn voice and laid back Midwestern charm.
He won over millions of audience members up and down the country as a contestant - and eventual victor - of the ninth season of popular TV talent show American Idol.
Having already got a loyal fan base on the Chicago club circuit by the time he auditioned for Idol, he was easily able to display his true nature as an artist on his major-label debut album Live It Up.
The title track of this record perfectly demonstrates DeWyze's breezy blend of rootsy pop, rock, and folk.
An unmatched soulful, husky voice and bright-sounding acoustic guitar punctuates this - and he is set to bring his unique sound to the Old Rock House in St Louis.
Entry is $17 and visitors to the city could do much worse than the Millennium Hotel St Louis, which is handily located a short, 20-minute walk away from the venue.
