Some of Scottsdale's finest young rock groups are set to go head-to-head at the Martini Ranch on December 2nd.

The venue is hosting a Teen Battle of the Bands, presented by the Scottsdale School of Rock and Salt River Fields.

Several prizes will be up for grabs, including a headline slot at the Street Eats Food Truck Festival at the Salt River Fields in January for the winning band.

The winners will also receive one month of free artist development at the School or Rock, while the second placed band will be rewarded with a slot at the Street Eats festival as well.

According to the organisers, participating bands will be based on their stage presence, musicality, 'rock swagger' and crowd response. Admission will be priced at $6 on the door.
