The Summer Set are a pop rock band who were formed in Scottsdale, Arizona back in 2007.

They have been remarkably prolific, having released no less than three EPs in a little over 12 months prior to their debut full-length album - which was entitled Love Like This - in 2009.

In terms of their sound, they took inspiration from other big name acts hailing from the same state - such as emo rock giants Jimmy Eat World.

On February 21st, The Summer Set are due to play a homecoming gig in Scottsdale - and this should prove to be a simply unmissable event.

Taking to the stage at the Martini Ranch, entry is priced between $15 and $18 and the band will be starting their set at 9:15 p.m. MST.

Residents at the Millennium Resort Scottsdale McCormick Ranch will find that they are able to jump in a taxi and get to the venue in a little under 15 minutes.
